Water Works

Yesterday I decided to fix the leaky faucet in my upstairs bathroom. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the cold water shut off, so I stalled out. I was going to get some penetrating oil, but I got sidetracked.

I should have pulled that thing off and cleaned under it a long time ago.

I got sidetracked because the replacement parts for my aquarium siphon arrived in the mail. I’ve needed to clean my aquarium for a long time, but haven’t been able to because my siphon was broken. I was so excited to have a working siphon, I got to it right away.

After the aquarium was clean, I decided to get some new shrimp for my tank. The aquarium store was out of them, but they did have some neon tetras. I added to my school of them. The shrimp come in Thursday, but that’s choir practice night. Maybe next weekend.

Wow! That was a Saturday well spent! Your aquarium is so inspiring, but it seems to require maintenance. Can’t they make a self-cleaning aquarium?

You impress me with your plumbing skills, too. Quite the handyman, Brad. 🙂
