I’m feeling almost normal today. My sickness is gone! Woo hoo! I started the morning with a visit to the diner. It was delicious!
I got over-easy eggs, bacon, and grits.

Okay….here is my “dumb” question. Since I live in Hawaii, I’ve never had grits. What exactly are they like? Is it basically like Cream of Wheat?? What does it taste like?
This is Lauren (my computer won’t work)/ Yes, grits are very like Cream of Wheat, but with corn. I polished off a box of instant grits (which people say are an abomination), but I like them. I divide the bowl in half with salt & pepper on one side, sugar on the other, and butter all over. Mmmmm……
Thanks, Lauren, for taking the time to answer my question. It sounds interesting and very good. I don’t think they even sell grits in the stores in Hawaii. Maybe someday I will get to have some!
