Faucet and Flowers

The last two weekends, I felt really sick, so all I did was sit on the couch. Yesterday I did not feel sick. I was so happy!

The first thing I did was fix the bathroom faucet. It’s been leaking for a while now. I tried to fix it a few weeks ago, but the cutoff valve under the sink wouldn’t turn at all. I used some penetrating oil and two pliers, and I got it to turn. Two trips to Home Depot, and I got the correct replacement parts. I replaced both handle valves. Hopefully I won’t have to do it again. But I guess if I do, at least I know how to do it now.

It was also an opportunity to clean the faucet.

While I was at Home Depot, I noticed that they not only had their seeds out, but also their summer-flowering bulbs. It was exciting to see. I decided I would go to the garden center to see what they had on display. They had lots of seeds, but no bulbs. (It really is too early for summer-flowering bulbs to be out.) They did have a lot of wonderful plants in the greenhouse. I took a restorative stroll through their cheery colors.

I liked the orange orchids.

Ahhh…. you deserved a good plant walk. 🙂

I’m so impressed with the plumbing fix. Valves start to confuse me once I see how many parts there are to lose.

I hope your Sunday is just as nice!

I’m Impressed With ALL Of You “Fix It” Skills……I was not married to a man who could do ANY of those household repairs…..But He Was An Awesome Umpire!!!!!! A Good Welder At Valmont For Many Years!!!! And Most Importantly A Wonderful Christian Husband & Father & Grandfather…. 🙂
