Cereal and Sidewalk

Whenever I see a new cereal in the grocery store, I like to try it out. A few days ago, I saw a new one: Keebler cereal. I had to get it.

It's a small box.

It’s a small box.

Before I put the milk on the cereal, it tasted very familiar. It strongly reminded me of a cereal from my past. I couldn’t name it though. Cocoa Puffs the way they used to taste? Something else?

After I put them milk on the cereal, I didn’t like it as much. It was still good, but not as good as dry. The “real chocolate chip cookies” in the cereal absorbed the milk and turned to mush. That part was not very good.

And, since I don’t seem to be good for anything this vacation except weeding my garden, here is yesterday’s “before” and “after”. I still have two big sections of the garden to weed. I may get to them today. I’m taking my truck in to get the radio fixed this morning, so I’ll see how much time I have.

Those sweet cereals are just getting ridiculous. Someday we’re going to open a box and just chocolate chips will pour out. Hey – you could market that and make a billion!

I can’t get over what an excellent weeder you are!

How do you get all the weed out of the cracks? Do you use a special tool….or do you just have Herculean strength?

      NR.

Haha! It took me a moment to realize what “NR” meant.

I pull the weeds slowly. If you rock them back and forth while you’re pulling, you often get the whole root, and even some of the dirt that has built up in the cracks. It sure makes the job tedious though.
