Bradicine

I was back home and had eaten dinner by 5:30pm last night. Normally that would mean coasting until bedtime, but I was feeling antsy, so I went to Target. I am on the farthest north edge of Kihei, and Target is on the farthest south edge of Kahului. I think I will be going there a lot.

Last night I decided to stock my medicine cabinet. I have a few essentials that I never want to be caught without:

Hydrocortisone – for itchiness or rashes. I use it surprisingly often.
Antibiotic ointment – when a cut gets red and angry, I put this on it under a bandage (I forgot to get bandages)
Antacid tablets – I’ve been controlling my acid problems with diet, but sometimes I just need these.
Generic Aleve – for when I overdo it with my back

Now my medicine cabinet is stocked and ready for any problem I might have.

I don't always get generics, but things are expensive here.

For medicine of another kind, I stopped at Lowe’s (across the street from Target) and walked through the garden department. Just as I was walking through, it started lightly raining. It was water for my soul. Some of the plants were familiar, but some were unknown to me. I am so excited to learn! I have a bunch of pots I can put on my lanai, but I have only limited space. I’ll have to choose carefully…

So refreshing...

So refreshing…

Can’t you just nab a leaf from a plant there, drop it into a pot and it will blossom? Aren’t you basically living in Narnia? 😉

I’m glad you bought some bathroom supplies. There are thing you shouldn’t live without. I’m also glad that Maui has places like Lowes and Target!

I am glad you took some moments to restore. What you are doing is stressful. Keep taking care of yourself!
