My first cat, Ned, died when he was 7. My second cat, Max, died when he was 5. It seemed a bad omen for Gus. If the pattern continued, he would not get past 3.
Except he did! Woo hoo! Gus’ birthday was yesterday, and he made it! He is officially four years old! The curse is broken!
I asked Denis for a birthday picture of Gus. He sent me ten. I couldn’t decide which to post, so here are ALL of them. Ha! I’ll number them for convenient commenting.

I started reading this post and was getting watery eyes but then got to the end!!! Oh my goodness, yay GUS and Happy Birthday!!! I’ve been thinking about him!!! I LOVE all the pics!!!
