Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Refrigerator

I haven’t really stocked my kitchen with food. Part of it is that I’m just kind of lazy when it comes to fixing myself meals. Part of it is that food is so expensive.

I’ve gotten a few things for my refrigerator. Mostly cheese, it seems. There is also some cookie dough in there. It’s about three weeks old now, so I won’t be baking it. I keep not throwing it away because it’s in storage containers I don’t want to throw out.

Milk, eggs, jelly, and some leftovers from Bible study last night. That’s about it.

The important thing is the milk. Without milk, Brad is sad.

I would guess that nabbing a Maui chicken and butchering it would be frowned upon, huh? Pity. You could eat like a king for free.

That fridge is a new level of minimalism.

this is a pretty identical image of our fridge with the four kids. we attempt to literally eat all the food in the pantry / fridge before going shopping. its fun and makes for interesting meals.

    Are fruits and vegetables expensive?

They are at the grocery store. There are lots of farmers markets around, though I haven’t been to many. Most of those places don’t list their prices, so you have to ask and/or haggle? Ack! I’d rather pay $12 for an artichoke.

Facetime me in. I’ll haggle for you.

Does milk in Maui stay fresh as long as milk on the mainland? I recall that being a recurrent theme for you for a while.
