In Language Arts class, we’re studying poetry. Last week, I had my students take a poem we read and put it graphically on a piece of paper. I also gave them watercolor paints to add color or shapes to the design. The results were really cool.
While they were working on their poems, I decided to do a picture too. Tara asked me to have my students fill out some surveys and mail them to her. I thought I should send something fun in the envelope too, so I painted a picture of Gus for her. I got a little carried away and kept working on it over the weekend.
I like how it turned out though, so I’m putting it into the memory archive.
I’m impressed!
Quit! It! I cannot handle the amount of talent you have! I am quite impressed, Brad.
This really is a good rendering – I agree! Much better than those two photos you used to hang on your front board – you know, the uncooked turkey in the pan and…and reference the snapshot you took of Gus and posted here two days ago.
Yup…much nicer rendering of Gus above. “Hi, Gus!”
Will Gus get to come to school sometime?
Your painting is awesome!
Oh my goodness brad, I love it! What? , you’re a painter TOO? Wow, keep going and do a Gus series! You definitely have the eye! Great job!
