Field Day

Yesterday at school we had Field Day. Cross-graded groups played various fun and challenging games, competing for the honor of first place. It was a lot of fun, and I got to know some of the younger kids, since they were in my group. We were all named after tribes of Israel, and each team had matching color shirts. My group was the lime-green Tribe of Simeon.

Tug-of-war was one of the events.

We ran a little ahead of schedule, so a couple of times during the day, we did some extra activities. One time, we danced.

Diane took this picture of me dancing.

“The lime-green Tribe of Simeon” – I am pretty sure that is biblical. Didn’t they always have to wear lime green? All those shirts are fantastic! That looks like a very fun day, but it would exhaust me. I’m more of a ‘watch a movie’ fun-time planner.

I think you meant you were “dancing”.

Haha! It may look like I’m just resting, but I’m doing “Hands on your knees! Hands on your knees!” from the Cha Cha Slide.
