I went to a different church yesterday. I love visiting other churches, but haven’t made time to do it here yet. I decided last week that I would go somewhere else this weekend, but didn’t decide where until Saturday.
There is a church in walking distance to my apartment that is almost right on the beach. I drive by it all the time, and I’ve been curious, so I decided to go there.
It’s a beautiful building.
The service had a lot of Hawaiian language songs. I could pronounce the Hawaiian words, but I didn’t know the tunes, so I was quiet for most of the singing. The message was given by a visiting pastor from a UCC church on Oahu. He was there because there were new members joining the congregation, and he was there to welcome them.
Leaving the church after services was beautiful.

Wow! That is a gorgeous view! I really like that you visit other churches. It gives you a good sense of the entire faith community. I’d like to do that here, but again, laziness wins……
