I dropped my mom and aunt at the airport last night. It has been great having them here.
On my way home from the airport, I found myself driving on a road I don’t usually take on my way home. This particular road runs past Office Max, so I stopped for sticky notes, because I was in serious need of replacements. Sticky notes are my organization method, so this is a vital resource.
The road also went past a liquor store I haven’t been to. I still hadn’t found my sipping drink, B&B, at any liquor aisle in other stores, so I decided to stop and have a look. They had it! And it was on sale! Yay!
When I got home, I put it on the kitchen counter next to the Crown Royal my mom got. Noticing the box wine my aunt got on the opposite counter, I decided to put them all together into kind of a family portrait. I present to you our representative alcoholic drinks:
I missed commenting this morning due to a wonky computer. The drink portrait is hilarious! I am sad your company had to go, but I am sure they had a wonderful time. 🙂
And there also are the British salt and pepper pots. Those things are more than 25 years old now. And still the perfect set, aren’t they? I love mine…
I stopped reading after “I dropped my Mom…” and panicked…then continued reading. Whew. So glad they were able to come and that you all had an excellent (and non-fatal) visit.
[So… B&B eh? for “Brent & Brad”, or…?] Enjoy the rest of your weekend, sir. Just donm’t try to empty the “family representatives” all too soon now.
The alcohol portrait is so cool! How fun and true!
