Thanksgiving in February

We’re having Lenten services on Wednesdays, and before church, there is a potluck dinner. Last night, someone brought a casserole that tasted like Thanksgiving dinner all in one bite! I think it was chicken instead of turkey, but it has a delicious gravy-like sauce, and stuffing on top. Yum!

So Thanksgiving-y

When I went to the dessert table, I laughed out loud. There was pumpkin pie! Ha! Of course I had to get some.

What is this, November?

That is the best meal, right there. (Except I could pass on the pumpkin pie.) Mmmm…. Thanksgiving……

That casserole is a good one. Our family likes it, too. And pumpkin pie? You hit the jackpot. Was there any cool whip?

If your weather has been as wacky as ours on the East Coast, perhaps it seemed enough like November to warrant the TG meal. Regardless, I believe I am a tiny bit jealous. (Thurman could eat pumpkin pie any day; if he reads your blog today, he’ll be more than a tad jealous.)
