Yikes! I forgot to post!
Yesterday was super fun. I met Josh and his family in the morning, and we went hiking at the Waiehee ridge trail. I’ve heard from many people how beautiful it is. It did not disappoint. At one point, we were literally walking on the edge of a ridge.

The trail was super muddy, but it was a cool overcast day, so that was nice. And the views were beautiful!
The buildings in the distance are Kahului.
I also enjoyed all the plant life along the trail. It’s the windward side of the island, so it’s more jungly, but it’s different that the road to Hana. The plants are less viney and more foresty. We saw several orchids. They just grow in the ground here. It’s amazing!
In the evening, we had dinner at their house. Josh is really good at cooking fish on the grill. Yum!
