Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Dinner and Dip

After school yesterday, my co-worker Chloe asked if I wanted to come over for dinner. She, her fiance, his kids and his grandpa would all be there. A family dinner sounded delightful!

I asked what I could bring. She said the kids liked uncooked vegetables and fruits. Anything crunchy. I had just been going through old Bradaptation posts and saw THIS post about some apple dip. It would be perfect!

1 Cup Sour Cream
1/2 Cup Crunchy Peanut Butter
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla

I cut up some apples and a crunchy, flavorless cantaloupe (I’m not so good at selecting cantaloupes).

I didn’t like it as much as I remember. I had a whole bowl full of it in 2009. Last night, I only had two large dollops. The leftovers are in my refrigerator. Maybe I’ll have more today.

Mmmmm….. still looks good….. Crunchy fruits are the best. I’m glad you had a nice evening! Your mom threw a royal wedding party this morning and had quite the spread of delicious items. You two must be related. 🙂
