I have continued to get flowers each week when I go grocery shopping. I love having cut flowers in my apartment. When I make my millions, I’ll have a florist on retainer.
The person in charge of ordering flowers continues to get lilies, much to my delight. And even more delightful, the variety of lily keeps changing. I move from variety to variety smelling them, then get the most fragrant.
Two weeks ago they had some pale green lilies that had the spiciest scent I’ve ever encountered. I’ve been hoping they come back. I didn’t write down the name of the variety, so I can’t request them.
This week, I got white lilies. They’re called “white cup”. They have a nice strong fragrance.
I moved them from the table to the kitchen counter, because I can smell them better there.
That is a glorious-looking lily! Can you tell the flower-orderer that you’ll be glad to sub for him/her if s/he needs to go on vacation? That would be a cool job.
