I was driving home from school yesterday, and while I was at a stoplight, I saw some cruise ship people.
There is a cruise ship that visits all the islands of Hawaii. On Sunday and Monday, the ship is in the harbor at Kahului. It’s fun, because the ship is taller than any building in Kahului, so it towers over the city. It’s also fun because the cruise ship people get off the ship and walk around the city.
Cruise ship people have a certain look: they are usually in pairs, they wear bright clothing, and they often are carrying shopping bags. Here is the group from yesterday:
This is useful information. So, to blend in: wear drab colors and never go shopping. I’m a Maui native already!
