On my way home from school yesterday I saw what I think is the most intense rainbow I’ve ever seen. The colors were so vivid, they looked opaque instead of translucent. It was like a solid object in the sky.
I tried to get a picture of it, but I was moving down the road, and there was no turn-off I could stop at.
The bottom edge of the rainbow had a small ribbon of repeated colors. There was also a shadow of a double-rainbow.
Beautiful!

Yikes! I had to go to work early and missed writing. That rainbow is stunning and the composition of your picture is surprisingly cool. Well done, weather and you. 🙂
