A Chairy Gift

I got some gift cards to Costco as an end-of-year present from two students. I decided I would get something special with them. Then I could remember those students each time I saw that thing.

My family is coming in July, and we will for sure be heading to the beach. Last Friday I saw some co-workers with really nice beach chairs they got from Costco. Perfect! I went to get them after school.

I got four.

I got four.

After I had waited in line for a long time and gotten to the second-from-the-front position, I realized I had grabbed one Costco gift card, and one Ululani’s Shave Ice gift card. D’oh! I had invested too much time in this endeavor, so I just paid the difference. Shoot. I guess I’ll have to remember that student with something else from Costco.

The label on the chairs shows their features much better than any picture I would have taken.

Excellent! Those look comfy and perfect! I think buying something normal like food at Costco with the cards cancels out the money use. It’s just taking a loan from yourself right?

By the way, that Costco is PACKED.
