Yesterday was my family members’ last day on Maui.
We started the day at church, which was fun because they got to see a lot of my school and church friends.
We did a lot of hanging out and doing nothing, because it was the last day, and because they had a long flight ahead of them.
But Tara did have one request: she wanted to drink a drink from a pineapple. When we were at the swap meet, she drank from a coconut. But there were no pineapples there. We found a pineapple drink at a little stand in Kihei. Tara got her wish! Yay!
It was blended pineapple and coconut milk.
When we got back to my apartment, everyone packed up and headed to the airport. Since they rented a car, I didn’t go along. I said goodbye to them from the curb.
This rental car really served us well.
Awwww…. Goodbye, Seward crew, and welcome home later. 🙂 I’m so glad you all had this chance to get together and hang out, despite the fact that coconut and the ocean had to be involved.
