Today is my last day before school starts. I’ve had a hard time switching out of summer mode and into school mode. We’ve been having meetings since last Monday because we’re working on accreditation, but I still feel like I haven’t gotten as much done as I wanted.
But in spite of my slowness, my room is almost ready. A few more things, then I have some paperwork and planning to do, then I’m ready for school! Woo hoo!

That is a dramatic ‘before’ and ‘after’ – it looks ready to go, and someone brought you cookies! I see you have some graffiti art on the back wall. Don’t bother trying to wash that off – it looks cool. 😉

I made those cookies. I’ve been making desserts a lot. I told a co-worker that I think I may have a new nervous habit.
Starting school on August 1st?! There oughta be a law agin that!! I normally let out a primal scream flipping a calendar to show August 1st – perhaps you’re heard that in past years? – and cannot begin to even fathom…well, God bless you all over there in the islands. You are stronger people than I. Have a terrific year – and we fully expect to see posted cookie recipes with regularity now, sir.
