My co-worker Chloe got a kitten! She loves cats. She was one of Gus’ babysitters this past summer. She has wanted a cat of her own, wasn’t sure if she could get one. She just recently got married and they’re still settling in. On top of that, her husband is allergic to cats.
But they went to the Humane Society to look at kittens, and came home with one. Her name is Isabel. I went to see her yesterday. She is super cute.
The kids had worn her out. She slept most of the time I was there.
Ohhhhhh…. *whispered* I love you, Bella. <3
I like her giant feet.
So the fact that the new spouse is allergic to cats is…irrelevant here? (Maybe he bought stock in Zyrtec or Claritin?)

Maybe he’s grown out of his allergy, or maybe this cat doesn’t cause a reaction, or maybe there’s another reason, but he’s doing fine with Isabel. They decided she would not sleep in their bed so that he would be able to rest easy, but even that rule has changed. She’s taking possession of the house. Hehe…
