Peculiar Pairing

I got an interesting envelope in the mail. It had a lot of padding in it. When I opened it up, I saw it was a sample of custom printed pens that I can order. I have no idea where the company got my name and address, but whatever information they had about me sure ended in an interesting pen:

Baltimore Lutheran Kihei? Baltimore Kihei? How odd.

The pens are super cheap. Only 59 cents each if I order 50. I really want to order some pens and have some other weird thing printed on them.

Last year I got some pencils for my classroom that have “Borrowed from Mrs. Gorline” printed on them. (I wanted “Mrs. Gorline is my favorite teacher” but that was too long.) I think it is funny when they are returned to me from people who find them all over the school.

Ha! That is like a hilariously misinformed bot or something. I love it!

I’m a pen thief, so if I worked at your school, your pens should say, “Give this pen back to Brad, Lauren.”

Somebody’s merged mail listing went haywire there, eh? Thanks to high humidity, it occasionally may feel like Baltimore is in Hawaii, of course…

You’ll be the only one with this awesome memento of your past, present, and who knows down the line. Maybe you can continue to emboss future schools you serve on the same pen over time? Would hate to waste a good writing utensil.
