Happy Birthday to my brother and my niece Alicia! Yay!
My travels from Los Angeles to Maui went well. I think I would characterize the day by saying I ate a LOT of junk food. In the LA airport, I bought a bunch of snacks. On the plane to LA to Honolulu I bought a pizza.
By the time I got to Honolulu, I wanted something to settle my stomach, so I went looking for milk. Milk is hard to find in the airport. I often just find a coffee shop and ask for a glass of milk. Sometimes they have trouble deciding how to charge me for it. I think I’ve come up with an idea for when that happens again. I will simply ask for a latte with non-steamed milk and no coffee. A latte is just a big glass of milk, right?
Ha! I like your latte recipe. That is quite clever. 😉 I had a glass of milk with dinner last night and thought of you. It is quite refreshing when it’s very cold. (School milk is never super-cold by the time I get to it.)
I am glad that you are home safely and that you had such a nice trip. How many hours are you off from California – 2? 3?
