While I was away from school, the timer on my aquarium malfunctioned. The “on” switch doesn’t work. The “off” switch still works. For the last couple of days, I’ve switched on the light manually, and the timer has switched it off automatically.
I don’t know how long the light was off, but it was long enough to kill the algae. The plants I planted are doing quite well though. So I guess in the end, it turned out good. The water looks cleaner than it has in a long time.
The fish are doing okay, except for the guppies. There were six of them two weeks ago. Now there are four.
Well, that’s a bit of serendipity. I’m glad that the algae is under control, and I’m sorry about the guppies. I can tell that Darth Vader is frustrated, too. Or is he proud? It’s so hard to tell….
