I voted! Yay!
I didn’t think I’d be able to, because when I tried to register a year ago, something went wrong. The lady called me, and told me call back during business hours. I couldn’t call because I was at school. Then I just forgot.
The polling places had voter registration tables. I went to my local polling place and asked the people, and they said they could just register me right there. Woo hoo!
I had done a little research to decide who I would vote for in the local elections here, so I was prepared. A few minutes later, I was on my way.
My polling place was right across the street from my condo complex.
