My coworker Andrea is on Oahu for a little while because her husband (my friend Kaala) has had a stroke. His recovery process has been slow, but promising. Please keep them in your prayers.
While Andrea is gone, the school bands need a substitute. Until Christmas, that’s me. I’ve had one practice with them so far. It was okay. A little hot and noisy, but ok.
One of the students had a trumpet valve that wasn’t working. Yesterday morning I tried to fix it before school so I could get it back to the student before the long weekend.
I did it! Thank you, internet!

Thank the Lord for handy internet references. I am impressed with your fix-it skilz! Now you can hire yourself out for money with that kind of stuff. That’s where the big bucks are.
