A Cat Day

I spent most of yesterday reading or watching TV or playing my phone puzzle games. I napped a little too. I got to see how Gus spends his day. He sleeps a LOT.

In the morning, he woke up to eat, drink, and visit the litter box. Then he went back to bed for a few hours. Mid morning, he was up again to eat, drink, meow a couple of times, then back to sleep. After noon, he moved from the bed to the top of my dresser, because the sun was coming in the window. He dozed in the sun until late afternoon, when he came for some together time with me in the living room.

The evening was his most active time. He walked around a lot, and even got playful. I got out his feathers-on-a-stick and ran him around a little. Later in the evening, he got grumpy. When he’s sleepy, he doesn’t go to bed on his own – he just gets really clingy and grouchy. If I take him to my room and put him under a blanket, he stays there and goes to sleep.

Dang. I wished I believed in reincarnation, because that is the life, man. Sleeping and eating and sleeping some more? Sign me up.

    You’re so cute, Gus!
