One of the most exciting things about moving from an apartment into a place that I actually own is that I can change things! I have many Projects and Quests ahead of me. So fun!
I’m starting small though. There’s so much to do. I don’t want to overwhelm myself, and I don’t want to have all the fun at once.
Yesterday, I changed my toilet seat. The toilet in my condo is a round bowl instead of an elongated bowl. I haven’t lived with a round bowl in ages. It’s so weird. It feels like I’m sitting on a baby toilet. What made it even worse was the toilet seat was super wide, and made the opening even smaller.
I went to the store, and looked for the biggest opening I could. I had a tape measure, so I could actually measure them. The old seat had a 10 inch opening. The new seat is 11 inches. I think it saved me from buying a whole new toilet, but we’ll see… installing new toilets is so fun!
How delightful! I’ve not ever really considered round vs. elongated. I couldn’t tell you what I have – I think round? We have elongated at school and it’s a split seat, so that always seems so dangerous.
