Cough Medicine

I finally went to the doctor for my cough. It was an urgent care place. It was nice. I didn’t even wait long enough to fill the forms they had given me.

When they were asking my medical history, I wanted to skip the details and just get to my cough, but I had just recently seen some episodes of “House”, where when the patients leave details out, their treatment causes them to have a near-fatal reaction.

Anyway, the doctor thinks it’s bronchitis. She gave me pills and an inhaler. They do seem to be making me feel better. Or maybe I’m getting better on my own. I still have coughing fits though. The inhaler is really quite magical in how it makes them go away. It’s just like on TV and movies!

Here’s hoping it all works out! I’m tired of this cough.

Hooray for modern medicine! I am glad that either time or chemicals (or both) are speeding you along to recovery. 🙂

I need to go back and watch some House. That was such a good show.

I’m not one to say, “I told you so”, so I won’t say that.

I’m glad you’re starting to feel better!

Right! — is the body naturally healing, or is the medicine helping? Such a tough read at times.

“I wanted to skip the details and just get to my cough” (…so we could all go home the same day and all) “but then I had just seen some episode of ‘House’…”

So…tell us…how long did the full unfolding of the Tale of Brad Royuk actually take?? Just curious. 😉

And were those pills tiny pearls? They’d worked wonderfully for me in the past – wishing you similar results.
