Yesterday was Chetarra and Kenny’s last day in Maui. They went to the top of Haleakala. I stayed at my condo, because the exterminator was coming, and I had to be there because of Gus.
In the evening, we went to a place I’ve taken other visitors to for happy hour. It has some good deals and good food, but I mostly like it for the setting. You sit on a second-story deck that faces west. It’s a great location to see the sunset.
It was really fun to sit and chat for a while. Lots of laughing and good stories. Their plane left late last night, and thus my last Visitors of Summer have gone. I have been so glad to have all the people staying at my place. Gus was well cared for, and seems very well-adjusted.
