Cat Day

I was going to work on my bathroom yesterday, but didn’t get to it.

In the morning, I went to the doctor for a follow-up visit after my cough in Nebraska. The official diagnosis from the urgent care doctor was Walking Pneumonia. My doctor concurred. He said my lungs sounded clear now, so I’m good for getting back to my exercise schedule.

But I didn’t do any exercise yesterday. I hardly did anything at all. After the doctor, I drove around and looked at the burned areas from the brush fires. It was huge! And the fires were still going.

When I got home, I sat on the couch and fell asleep. Then I woke up and ate something. Then I slept some more. Gus was right there with me, eating and sleeping.

In the afternoon, I felt kind of guilty about doing nothing, so I went to visit Steven and Chloe. They’ve been fostering kittens for the humane society this summer. They’re on their second set. They were super cute.

Oh, my heart. I could never foster kittens because I’d end up owning a hundred cats. They are so cute!!

I am so glad to hear of your diagnosis! Hooray for clear lungs, but ‘boo’ for fires making your air gross. I hope that clears up, too. How’s your foot?
