We’re having some special music this Sunday because it’s Reformation Sunday. Judy got a few volunteers together last night and had us practice a choir piece.
It was nice to be in choir practice again. I’ve grumbled about choir in the past, but I really do miss it. Singing is fun.
I’m singing bass, which is unusual for me, but it’s fun. I’m also directing, so the choir can face away from Judy and the piano and sing out into the church. I like directing too, and miss it, but it does take a lot of planning and preparation. This time, Judy did all that, and all I’m doing is waving my arms. Nice!
Yay! How fun to sing with a choir again! I do love it, but the practicing takes too much time.
