Happy Friday the Thirteenth!
I got on some kind of mailing list, and I’ve been getting catalogs – old fashioned, paper catalogs. It’s kind of fun. I enjoy looking at the pictures, then seeing the price and saying I would never pay that much for that thing.
The list I’m on is interesting… gift baskets, meat in the mail, wine, and knives. I wonder what kind of data about me has been harvested that tells those particular companies to send me a catalog…
Ha! I would like “I enjoy looking at the (things), then seeing the price and saying I would never pay that much for that thing.” to be embroidered on several pillows, since that is my motto for every single thing that is for sale.
I’m off all my catalog lists, but I did get one in the mail a couple of weeks ago and dang it, it is fun to look at. 🙂
I used to get lots of catalogs and love looking at them and making same comments….too expensive! I could make that!
