Old Mail

When I got my mail yesterday, this was in it:

That retired-people organization sure doesn’t waste any time contacting people.

I opened it up and looked at their offers, but I don’t think I’ll take them up on it.

    Awwwww…… welcome to the club! Lloyd teased me mercilessly about it until his came in the mail a couple of days later.

    Yeah, what do we get out of it, for real? A cheap cup of coffee?

    I never got anything from them? I guess they just couldn’t believe i was 50? (Actually, mark gets the mail and filters for me and probably threw it away)

    I have fond memories of Angie Lorenzo handing me my first AARP application when I turned 50. I resisted at the time as well, Brad. (Lived by the river in Egypt apparently…)
