Yesterday was kind of a low-key day. We slept in, then I worked at school for a bit.
Next, we decided to go to Iao Valley. It was so pleasant. I took some pictures.
We came across a lily of some kind. It looked like a variety of amaryllis. I remembered my new phone has portrait mode. Here are the first two portrait mode pictures I’ve ever taken.
Ha! It makes the the background blurry. The pictures look so artsy! I should use portrait mode more often. (My mom and I just had a conversation about the word “often”. Do you pronounce the “t”?)
I do not pronounce the ‘t’, but I am ok if other people do. (I do pronounce ‘other’ ‘ot-her’, though.) 😉
What excellent pictures those are! One of our teachers has portrait mode on her phone and posted pictures of the children on a snowy day. They were magical, as are yours.
Offen times the t is not pronounced unless you “use more ofTen”. I’ve never thought about that before? CARmel? CARAmel? I say CARmel. CARA is somebody’s sister. Ahhhh portrait mode, very nice! Beautiful lily!
