New Old Light

Happy May Day! In Hawaii, May 1 is the day to celebrate Hawaiian culture. If we were in school, we would be having a celebration with all the classes dancing hula and singing. I’m sorry we’re missing that.

And now, back to our regularly scheduled post:

Painting my living room has caused me to do a whole bunch of smaller side-tasks. Yesterday I stopped at Lowe’s on the way home from school.

The ceiling light in the hallway had a glass cover on it that was too flowery for me. I found a replacement cover that is just frosted glass. I got a new light for only $9. Nice!

I also got some replacement light bulbs. I got LED lights. The color is much whiter than the old bulb. I like white light.

You not only bought it, but you put it up already? Don’t you know those things are supposed to sit on the table/counter for a few days to ripen? At least in my experience……….
