Happy Star Wars Day! May the fourth be with you!
I really do like my new living room. wall color. It is a cool-temperature grey. I laugh a little when I think of the name of the color – “galactic tint”. It’s funny, because when you put it together with my new bathroom paint color – “mushroom”, it seems like I’m choosing colors named by hippies. What’s next, “groovy green”? Ha!
Anyway, one thing that’s surprising me is how much darker my living room is at night. On the one hand, it’s cozy. On the other hand, I like light, so I turn on all the lights full blast when evening comes.
Admittedly, the following pictures are literally the difference between day and night, but it does at least show a ‘before’ and ‘after’ of the paint.
Ahhh…… it’s like you live in a spa. I used to be very opposed to grey, but now I’m a fan. It looks very peaceful.
The pattern of light on the wall from that lamp is gorgeous – like magical art that only appears at night!
When we ran our shop, we learned that grey is the most neutral of colors – anything will go well with a grey tone. Nice choice there. Should give you pleasant and restful home time. And I vote you look for for “psychedelic pink” or “tie-dyed purple” for another room…just in keeping with the theme.
