I’ve kept my condo pretty clean lately, which I’ve felt good about. The exception is the little table by my kitchen. It is the catch-all for everything. I should clean it off. Maybe showing a picture of it will encourage me to do it.
Most of the stuff could easily just be put somewhere, but then I have to decide where it should go. Deciding is hard.
Yes. Yes. Yes. It’s the deciding. Once it’s decided it’s easier to put back, but the deciding is the hiccup.
I think the world is trying to tell me something. I just spent longer than I’d like to admit reading a Konmari/decluttering post on Reddit, then saw a thing on Facebook that said, “Clutter is delayed decisions”, and now you post this. My classroom is in a state of severe disarray due to this. I can make decisions for stuff that’s not mine, but have such trouble deciding about my own.
I blame my decision making block being a libra…. but looks like i’m not alone! Yay Sometimes i can decide something and can’t do it fast enough! Other times the last pieces of sand are falling thru the hour glass and i’m the loser on my own game show? It will hit you, then You’ll know when you know!
