Shopping Hungry

My schedule was a little unusual yesterday, so I went a little too long without eating. I needed to stop at the grocery store for milk, so I was Shopping Hungry. Uh oh…

I did restrain myself a little bit, and didn’t end up buying EVERYTHING I wanted to buy, but I got two things that were new to me – an ice cream treat, and oatmilk.

The ice cream treat was amazing. It was like bite-size nutty buddies. I ate all of it in two minutes and wanted more. I think I should maybe not buy this again.

The oatmilk was not what I expected. I thought it would be thicker and sweeter. In the end, it just reminded me of skim milk. It’s a pleasant enough alternative to milk I think. Except it’s easier for me to just get milk, so…

    How interesting that you tried it! We have lots of children who drink soy or almond milk at the center and I’ve always been curious.

    That is hilarious about the ice cream! “I shouldn’t get this again.” Yep. I resisted getting ice cream the past couple of weeks, but now there is ice cream in the freezer.

    I like vanilla almond milk. It’s a bit sweet, but I don’t mind.

    Of course, this comes from a gal who drinks whole milk. It comes straight from the farm to my tummy.
