Yesterday morning as I sat on the couch, the hummingbirds came. Woo hoo! I got a picture of one.
Denis and I were going to go on a hike or something. Instead, we went here:
IKEA! Awesome! Denis was looking for a new work table for his place. I was just looking at all the cool stuff. I didn’t end up getting a pile of odds and ends like I expected, but I did find some really cool new curtains for my place. I love the material.
They’re about a foot too long. I’m not sure if I’ll try to shorten them, or if I’ll just let them pile up on the floor.
I also got some tool kits for the new teachers at my school. We have three new graduates joining us. I’m so excited to meet them! I think the tool kits will be a great classroom-warming gift.
I did have to borrow a rolly suitcase carryon thing from Denis though. The curtains and tool kits are heavy and would for sure put my suitcase over the limit.
I fly back home today. My direct flight to Maui was changed into a connection through Honolulu. Ugh. And extra landing and takeoff. Hopefully the flights will be smooth.

Congratulations on a successful curtain quest! They are so lovely, I can almost forgive you for going to IKEA. Those tool kits are going to be very appreciated, too. Did Denis find his desk?
