Uneventful, Then Eventful

My day of travel was uneventful, which was just fine with me. The most astounding part of my trip was how smooth my landing on Maui was – very little turbulence! Awesome!

I requested a window seat from Oahu to Maui so I could look out the window during turbulence. Somehow, seeing the land holding still makes me feel better when the plane is lurching all over. Yesterday that wasn’t necessary, but I did have a clear view of a brush fire.

When I got home, I unpacked a little. I wasn’t surprised to see that my suitcase had been searched by TSA. They always do that when I bring honey home. But I was surprised that they opened the jar and didn’t put the lid back on tightly. There’s honey all over the inside of my suitcase. Ugh.

Well, that’s a maddening end to a pleasant journey. I am wishing some uncontrollable diarrhea on whoever was in charge of that jar. (Insert mad face here.) Set that bag outside and let the ants clean it. šŸ˜‰

That is ridiculous. And I’m sure there is nothing you can do about it. Which is maddening.
I’m glad you made it safely home.
