Lots of Doing

I had an exceptionally productive day yesterday. It felt great!

First, I went to school, where I started a project I’ve been putting off for a long time. I got most of it done. I should be able to finish this morning. What a great load off my shoulders to get this done!

When I went home, I thought I’d poke around the storage closet by my kitchen a little. I thought maybe I could combine a couple of boxes and take one box out. One thing led to another, and I looked in all the boxes. I saw many wonderful toys and pictures.

Before I knew it, I had combined box contents to remove FOUR of the boxes! Amazing!

I had no idea I was going to do all the boxes, so I didn’t get a “before” picture – just an “after” one:

One of the boxes had an old external hard drive I had bought on sale. It was configured for Mac, so I could never use it. Last night I followed directions to re-format the hard drive. It used command-prompt commands. I was so scared I’d mess up my laptop. But I didn’t! And the disk works! Woo hoo!

Holy smokes!!! That looks incredible! That was so much work, and what a payoff! Your box of toys looks so inviting – I never had that size of action figures.

I am super-impressed with your work on the hard drive, too. I don’t actually understand how those things work. What if we had those? I’d just carry an extra brain around….. wait, that might just work….

You should build a display case for your action figures. Then you could enjoy them everyday.

Was it rainy on your graduation day? Is that why everyone is squished inside?

If I remember correctly, there was kind of a reception thing in the lobby of the music building? I could be smashing two memories together though. That was a while ago… 🙂

I often stood in awe of your techno-savy self; just another reason here. Congrats on the successful reformatting…and closet organizing!
