Last time I went to the grocery store, I bought potatoes. I like them, but I never buy them. I cooked one in the microwave last night. Actually, I cooked two.
The internet told me to set the microwave timer for 10 minutes. That was way too long. If I would have read the comments on that post, I would have seen that one person had his potato catch on fire after being in the microwave for ten minutes. Mine just shriveled up and turned super hard.
I cooked the second potato for five minutes. It was much better.
Sorry for your other-potato loss, but that potato looks pretty good! Microwaves are incredible tools. What would pioneers think of us? “You put it in that box and it’s cooked before I’ve chopped any firewood? What sorcery is this?”
