On Saturday, my right eye seemed kind of watery and irritated. I wore my glasses instead of my contacts. By the end of the day, my eye seemed a little swollen.
Yesterday morning, my eye was stuck shut. It was quite red and puffy. I was scheduled to play piano for church, so I headed there early to practice. My eye was so red and swollen.
I was there two hours before church. My eye was really bothering me, so I decided to go to the doctor. It’s only two blocks from school, so it’s easy.
It was right after they opened, so I got in super-fast. The doctor put some dye in my eye, and said she saw a scratch. She gave me some drops and sent me on my way. I still had plenty of time to practice.
The drops made my eye feel better. By bedtime, the redness was mostly gone, but there was still some eyelid pain and swelling. I think I might have a stye.
How fortunate that the doctor is so close! I thought you were going to say that you had pink eye, and while it’s good that you don’t, this isn’t much better. I don’t know anything about styes. What do they do for that?
