Hawaii didn’t do any actual poll places yesterday. All voting was by mail-in or drop-off. I, of course, didn’t have my voting stuff together in time to mail it, so I dropped it off. They had a special box at the fire station.

Well done, citizen! Lloyd and I voted last week. I need extra time to read stuff. We actually had an item on ours to remove slavery as a punishment. No lie.
That drop box is so shiny! It does make me wonder if there is a place where those things are stored for years. Does it disassemble to take up less space?
I’m usually more interested in the ballot measures than the elections. We didn’t have anything as weird as yours though!
I think this box was made new just for this year. Normally, I would go to a polling place and vote with the machines, and the retired people signing me in, and the “I voted” stickers and all that.
