On Wednesdays we have chapel on the lawn. It keeps us socially-distanced but lets us gather as a whole school.
Lately, there have seemed to be a lot of flies during chapel. They always land on my ankles. That seems to be the favorite landing place of flies here on Maui. They’re always landing on my legs somewhere below my knee. It’s annoying. But I guess it could be worse. They could be fascinated with my head or face instead…
Yeah, ankles would be better than face, but still, that’s pretty annoying.
It was really cold here last week but it warmed up significantly, and the pirate bugs are back. They bite for no reason and it HURTS. This year I have developed welts where some of the bites happen Bring on the freezing temps. Maybe we’ll send some your way? No, that would be way to 2020.
