Festival and Food

Christmas Day was great!

I started the morning at church. Christmas morning is definitely my favorite of all the church services of the Christmas season. So much celebration and so much singing! I sang with the choir again. It was a simple lessons and carols service. It was awesome.

After I took this picture, I noticed the church musician was sock-footed. I think it was the easiest way for him to switch back and forth from piano to organ.

After church, I went to my mom’s house. There was so much delicious food. Yum! It was a turkey dinner. Beth brought her Turkey Gloves. It’s such a great way to pick the meat from a turkey.

The dinner was AWESOME! I ate a LOT!

The rest of the day was spent talking, napping, and eating some more. What a wonderful Christmas!

Ha! The socks are hilarious! I had no idea that Paul did that, but I’m not surprised one bit.

    Merry Christmas, one and all!

Merry Second Day of Christmas to all the Royuk/Pesters out there! Sure looks as if you had a marvelous First Day. Glad you got to be home, Brad.

[I may have commented on this before, but Beth’s turkey gloves bring this lady to mind: http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120504110950/dexterslab/images/7/72/Dex_mom_174x252.png%5D
