I played the piano for church yesterday. I haven’t done it for a while because Nathan was home from college. I appreciated the break, but it made me a little rusty. Yikes!
When I play the piano, I play LOUDLY. I am aware of it, but I just can’t seem to stop. Instead, I just constantly use the soft pedal. During the sermon, I looked down at my feet and saw that my foot was still there. Ha! I guess it’s an unconscious habit now…
….and you are wearing pants! and church shoes! (Sorry, it just seems so formal….)
I think it’s wonderful that you play for church! It’s awesome that you use your talents for God. š
We kids always had to put the soft pedal down when playing piano at home because our piano was in the living room area, and the space was small. I still use the soft pedal regularly.
