When I swapped vehicles with Josh the other day, I was distressed that his dome light didn’t come on. I was talking with my students about it, and mentioned that every time I get in my car, I check to see if the ceiling is covered with spiders. I was surprised to find out that they thought that was weird.
Doesn’t everybody check to see if their car ceiling is covered with spiders before they get in?

That goes back to your detasseling days, right? Didn’t you actually have that happen in your pickup? Maybe not covered with spiders, but I remember a story involving spiders in your truck.
I don’t remember a story like that… but then again, there are a lot of things I don’t remember anymore…
