It was a happy birthday indeed, even though it was on a Monday….
Many many students said “Happy Birthday” I love that! My mom got donuts and brought them to school in time for lunch. We went to happy hour for delicious appetizers after school, where Josh joined us. And when I got home, there were presents in the mail! Yay!
One present was from me. I’ve needed new exercise shoes for a while now. I found some internet article that recommended a certain make and model. I got them! They’re very comfortable. They feel like they have pillows of air in the insole.
Even more exciting, there was a present from Beth. Woo hoo! It was dried fruits! Yum! I will enjoy sampling them all. Maybe it could even be a whole post on its own. Awesome! Thanks, Beth!
I finished the evening by struggling with my new air conditioner a little more. The instructions are absolutely bewildering. I did finally make a breakthrough and found the “tapered spacer blocks” to which the instructions referred. Feeling triumphant, I went to bed.
An exciting day, indeed! I am glad that so many people made it happy! Now go lie and tell those kids that today is also your birthday!
